Everyone in the Harford team is committed to providing the product you need with the minimum of fuss. Your order will be entered onto our computer based Production Control System to ensure minimum lead time and total traceability at any time.

With a wealth of design experience and using the latest 3-D CAD systems, our technical department ensure that each Harford product delivers maximum digging efficiency and durability at a competitive price.

Our products start life as certified quality sheet steel and the process begins with our laser-cutting machines. Linking these directly to the CAD/CAM equipment in the design department ensures that every part is made exactly as designed, every time.

It is important to us that we maintain total control of the production process. We make every part of a Harford product on site, using the most up to date CNC machinery.

We now have the building blocks for a Harford product. The next stage is to weld the components in place using modern robotic welding technology, whilst checking overall dimensions. All our products are continually checked for tolerances and weld quality.

Finally every joint is seam welded to an exact specification before final inspection. Only now can your Harford bucket be passed through to the purpose-built shops for finishing.
